Most Morocco tour operators publish no prices at all. Here is the whole picture. The tour price, the four extras that are never in it, and what a week actually costs you door to door.

A guided multi-day bike tour in Morocco costs roughly €200 to €330 per person per day, all-inclusive of accommodation, meals, guiding and vehicle support. A day tour from Marrakech runs €90 to €150. Those numbers are the honest middle of the market in 2026, and everything below explains what moves a quote up or down inside that range.
We publish our prices on every tour page, which is unusual here. Most Morocco operators, including several large ones, publish nothing and make you email for a quote. That is not always a trick, but it does mean you cannot compare without spending a week in your inbox. So here is the arithmetic in the open.
What the tour price includes
On our trips, and on most reputable operators here, the headline price covers a genuinely full package. This is worth understanding because it changes how the number compares to, say, a European trip where lunch and dinner are usually extra.
- Airport transfers at both ends
- All transport between Marrakech and the trailheads
- Accommodation for every night of the tour
- Every meal — breakfast, lunch and dinner, including on riding days
- A qualified English-speaking Moroccan guide
- A 4x4 support vehicle shadowing the whole route
- A helmet, if you do not bring your own
The meals point is the one people underestimate. On a seven-day trip that is around twenty covered meals. In Marrakech you might spend €15–25 a day eating well; in the mountains there is often nowhere to buy food at all, so "all meals included" is not a nicety, it is the only workable arrangement.
The four things that are never included
Every operator excludes broadly the same four things. Budget for all of them or your real cost will surprise you by several hundred euros.

Why the per-day rate falls on longer trips
A two-day tour costs more per day than an eight-day tour, and the reason is fixed costs. Airport transfers, the vehicle, the driver and the guide’s travel to the trailhead cost the same whether you ride for two days or eight. Spread over more days, they shrink.
This is why our 8-day Atlas Mountains MTB tour works out considerably better per day than the 2-day Atlas Mountains MTB tour, even though the daily experience is comparable. If you are choosing purely on value, longer is better. If you are fitting a ride around a city break, the short trip exists precisely for that.
What group size does to the price
Almost every published "from" price in Morocco, including ours, is based on two people sharing. Two riders split one vehicle, one guide and twin rooms. A solo rider carries all of that alone, which is why single travellers see a supplement.
It cuts the other way too. Four or six riders sharing the same vehicle and guide is meaningfully cheaper per head than two, and the riding is often better for it. If you have a club or a group of friends, ask for a group quote rather than multiplying the per-person price. It will come back lower than you expect.
Tipping, honestly
Tipping is customary in Morocco and it matters more than it does at home, because wages in mountain tourism are low and tips can be a substantial share of what a guide or driver actually earns for the week. Nobody will ask you for one, and no guide will treat you differently if you do not tip. But it is expected.
A reasonable benchmark on a multi-day trip is 100–150 MAD (roughly €10–15) per rider per day, divided between the guide, the driver and any cook or muleteer. On a week-long trip with two riders that comes to somewhere around €140–200 in total, handed over at the end. If you would rather give one amount and let the team divide it, that is completely normal and often preferred.
A worked example: one week, two riders
Here is what a real week costs door to door, for one person travelling as part of a pair from western Europe, hiring a bike here rather than flying one out.

Bringing your own bike removes the €270 and adds roughly €60–120 in airline fees, so it is worth doing if you own a bike you are attached to, and not worth the hassle if you do not.
Where Morocco sits against the alternatives
Against comparable guided mountain biking in the Alps, Spain or Italy, Morocco is usually cheaper for the same length of trip, and the gap is widest on all-inclusive packages because food, accommodation and staff cost less here. Against Nepal or Peru, it is broadly similar on the ground but much cheaper to reach from Europe — three and a half hours from London, four from Berlin.
The thing that genuinely differentiates the cost here is the support vehicle. A 4x4 shadowing every route is standard in Morocco and unusual elsewhere at this price. It is why a rider who has had enough at lunchtime on day four has an option that is not misery, and it is quietly the reason mixed-ability groups work here.
How to get an accurate number
Message us with your dates, how many of you there are, and roughly what you ride at home. We will come back with a real price for that trip rather than a range — usually the same day. If the honest answer is that a different tour suits you better, we will say that too.
Common questions
Do I pay a deposit, and when is the balance due?
A deposit confirms the booking and holds your accommodation; the balance is due before the tour starts. Exact percentages and dates are on our terms page — confirm them with us when you book rather than assuming, because they vary with how far ahead you are booking.
Can I pay in euros or do I need dirhams?
Tour payments are handled in euros. You only need dirhams on the ground, for tips, drinks and anything you buy in Marrakech. Bring or withdraw a few hundred dirhams and you will be comfortable.
Is a cheaper Morocco bike tour worse?
Not automatically, but check what is missing. The common ways to cut a price here are dropping the support vehicle, using a guide with no first-aid training, putting twelve riders behind one guide, or excluding meals. Any of those can be fine if you know about it. The problem is when you find out on day two.
What is the single biggest cost people forget?
Travel insurance that actually covers what they are doing. A standard policy often excludes mountain biking entirely, and almost all exclude enduro and downhill unless named. Mountain rescue in the Atlas is not free, and a policy that excludes your activity will not pay for it.
