Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed when we have received your deposit and sent you written confirmation. The balance is due before the tour begins. We will set out the exact amounts and dates in your booking confirmation.

Prices

Prices shown on this website are “from” prices per person, based on two people sharing a room. The final price depends on group size, dates, room arrangements and any changes you ask us to make. Bike and helmet hire are quoted separately.

Cancellation

If you cancel, the amount refunded depends on how close to departure you cancel, because we commit to accommodation and staff in advance. Your booking confirmation sets out the exact terms. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.

Changes we may need to make

Mountain weather, trail conditions and road closures can force a change of route or accommodation. Where that happens we provide the nearest equivalent. If conditions make a tour genuinely unsafe we will reroute, reschedule or refund the affected days.

Insurance and your responsibility

Travel insurance covering cycling is a condition of joining any tour. For enduro and downhill trips your policy must explicitly cover those activities — many standard policies do not.

Mountain biking carries real risk of injury. You are responsible for riding within your ability, for wearing a helmet, and for telling us honestly about your experience and any medical condition that could affect you on the trail. Our guides may ask a rider to take an easier line or use the support vehicle where they judge it necessary, and that decision is final.
