Morocco MTB tours in the High Atlas give you something Europe largely no longer has: hundreds of kilometres of unmaintained, un-signposted singletrack that nobody else is riding. These are working mule paths between villages, and they descend better than most trails built on purpose.
Day rides to nine-day crossings, graded honestly from easy to advanced.

Narrow, rocky and natural. The mule paths run along the contours between villages, cut wide enough for one loaded animal, and they have been in continuous use for centuries — so the good lines are polished and the bad ones never existed. Expect loose rock, off-camber sections, exposure in places, and almost no berms.
There is no trail centre here, no signage and no maintenance crew. If a section washes out in a storm the village repairs it because they need it, which means the network survives but changes. Our guides ride it constantly, which is how we know what is rideable this month rather than last year.
Riders coming from the Alps or Finale generally find the terrain rawer and less predictable, and the good ones find it better for exactly that reason.
Intermediate means you ride regularly, are comfortable on loose rocky descents, and can handle 30 to 38km off-road on consecutive days. The 2-day, 3-day and 9-day Atlas-to-Atlantic tours sit here.
Advanced means steep, committing, technical terrain with consequences — the 8-day classic and the enduro trip. We are deliberately strict about this. Putting an intermediate rider on the enduro tour does not produce a stretched rider, it produces a hurt one.
If you are unsure, tell us how you ride and where, and we will tell you honestly which trip fits. We would rather sell you the right tour than the expensive one.
We run full-suspension trail bikes with 140–150mm travel from Trek, Scott and Cube, serviced after every tour and set up for your height and weight. For the enduro trip we run 160–170mm bikes, and most riders on that trip bring their own.
The 4x4 shadows every route with bags, spare parts, water and lunch. On the enduro tour it also provides uplift wherever a road reaches the top of a trail.
Bring your own bike if you prefer — we build it, service it daily and carry a spare wheelset. Bring more brake pads than you think you need; Atlas descents eat them.
The Kik Plateau for flow — over 20km of open, fast high-plateau riding with the whole range beside you. For technical riding, the trails dropping off the Tizi Tzikerte into the Ouazzaden valley are the best we know, and they are only reachable with mules carrying the bikes over the pass.
Fit enough to ride 30–38km off-road with 800–1,200m of climbing, repeated for several days. Fitness catches people out more than technical skill: a strong rider handles a hard descent, but consecutive days of climbing at altitude is a different demand.
Either works. Our hire fleet is good and saves you the airline bike fee and the risk of a damaged frame. Riders on the enduro trip usually bring their own because bike setup matters more on that terrain.
Mostly you climb. The support vehicle does uplifts where a road exists — commonly on the enduro tour and occasionally elsewhere if the group wants to save legs — but the best trails are reached by pedalling, and on one pass by mule.
Tell us when you are coming and how you like to ride. We will build something around it and tell you honestly whether it suits you.
