Stops
Villages and passes in riding order, with the altitudes we record for each day. A route overview rather than a GPS trace: the line follows roads and tracks between the stops, so where a day crosses a pass on mule paths the drawn line takes the nearest rideable way round and will read longer than the distance we quote. Trails between stops vary with conditions and with your group.
The Imlil enduro day tour is what we run for riders who have one day and want to spend it going downhill. It uses the technical terrain above the Imlil and Azzaden valleys — rocky mule paths, steep chutes and long, sustained descents — with vehicle uplift wherever a road makes it possible.
This is an advanced day. The trails are loose, exposed in places and unmaintained, which is exactly what makes them good. You should be riding technical terrain regularly at home and be comfortable committing to a steep line you have not seen before.
Pickup from Marrakech in the morning, riding by mid-morning, lunch in the Azzaden valley, and back in the city by early evening.

We pick you up early from Marrakech and drive to Imlil at 1,740m. The morning is spent on the steep trails above the village — rocky, technical descents with obstacles that need commitment, broken up by short climbs and vehicle uplifts where the road allows. Lunch is in the Azzaden valley, with the afternoon on a different set of lines dropping back towards the valley floor. Rugged peaks above, terraced villages below, and almost no other riders. Back in Marrakech by early evening.
This one runs all year. Day rides are private departures on the dates you choose — there is no fixed calendar to fit around and no strangers added to make up numbers.

Honestly, no — not this specific day. The terrain is steep and unforgiving, and an intermediate rider will have a bad time rather than a good one. Take our day mountain bike tour from Marrakech instead; it covers similar country on trails you will actually enjoy.
Roughly half and half. We uplift where a road reaches the top of a trail, but several of the best lines are only accessible by pedalling or pushing to them. Expect to work for some of the descending.
